Where Can I Find A PS5? Or Xbox Series X?
If you are a fan of video games, or happen to be the parent of a child that is one, there is no chance you aren’t aware of the new next-generation consoles recently released by industry giants Microsoft and Sony.
In the case of Sony, the Playstation 5 is here to replace the PlayStation 4 and was just released on November 12, 2020 (launch day). It has been more than seven years since the previous generation hit the market and loyal fans are ready for an upgrade. This new system is considered a significant upgrade from its predecessor, the PS4 and retails for $499 (USD).
In addition to the PlayStation 5, or PS5 as it is widely known, Sony also released a lower priced system that is digital, meaning it does not have a disc drive. Keeping it simple, it is referred to as PS5 Digital Edition, which retails for $399 (USD).
Microsoft released a new version of its long popular Xbox system, called the Xbox Series X. This cutting edge console is the top of the tier for Microsoft gaming systems, but they did release a less expensive digital version called the Xbox Series S.
Just like it’s competition over at Sony, the lesser priced system is digital, meaning it does not come with a disc drive and all games must be downloaded directly from the Microsoft store. Luckily, the Xbox Series X comes with 1TB SSD which should allow you to enjoy the best games available today like Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War and Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.

There is still a chance to get your hands on one of these systems (Or both!) before Christmas, but you have to be vigilant and act fast. You also have to be prepared to give up significant chunks of time, including late at night when many of the random releases by retailers have taken place since launch in early November.
