Have-A-Heart Raises $25 Million For Massive Expansion
Founded in 2011, Seattle based Have A Heart has quickly become one of the premier cannabis retailers in the United States.
In the seven years since its grand opening, Have A Heart has been able to open and operate fifteen locations, spread out over five states, including Hawaii, Oregon, Iowa and California.
After having a lot of success in Seattle, Have A Heart decided to use its profits to expand its business to additional states. Amazingly, they have had a lot of good fortune with the application process and success in obtaining new licenses.
As a result, Have A Heart realized it was going to need more money in order to build stores and fund the opening of multiple new locations.
President and CEO, Ryan Kunkel, issued the following statement
“Our growth outpaced our ability to organically fund our expansion,” “We’ve found a financial partner with significant experience in applying capital to help growth companies scale. Having the financial support and management stewardship of this team will help us execute our vision more rapidly and broadly.”
In Washington, you can find retail stores in Belltown(downtown), Bothell, Greenwood/Ballard, Ocean Shores and Skyway/Seatac.
